2012

This year we welcomed the arrival of four foals, by Brynithon The Exterminator, one bay colt and a three bay fillies .

Rotherdale Magic Princess also gave us a chestnut roan filly by Danaway Tango, and our section C mare, Rotherdale April Lady, had a chestnut colt by Leyeswick The Poacher.

We also bid farewell to Rotherdale Bay Prince and Rotherdale Xsara who were sold at the Builth Spring Sale.

2011

This year we had 6 foals, four cob foals, two fillies and two colts, by Brynithon The Godfather.

We also had a section C filly by Leyeswick The Poacher, and a Section A colt by Ty'Capel Planned, who went on to win his class at this year's Royal Welsh.

Our two cob colt foals, Rotherdale Emperor and Rotherdale Express were also sold this year.

2010

After the sad death of her mother the year previously this year saw the loss of our much loved mare Rotherdale Dulais. As our first home bred Royal Welsh winner she too will be hugely missed.

2009

This year saw the sad loss of Gerrig Dulais. She had been with us since a youngster, and as one of our founding mares will leave a wonderful legacy at Rotherdale and will be greatly missed.

2007

Rebecca and her Section B Mare Oakhouse Octavia win the Brecon & Borders' Points Trophy's for Best B and Best Young Handler for the 2nd Year Running.

Bex also won the Reserve Championship with her Sec A filly, Trefaes Dancing Queen, at the Brecon & Borders Progeny Show.

2006

This year saw the sad loss of Gwrthafarn Commander in December at the age of 24. He had been with us since he was a yearling and left a wonderful legacy at Rotherdale as well as a huge gap.

Leased to Klaus Lindberg in Denmark for the 2006/2007 stud seasons.

ROTHERDALE MAGIC PRINCESS.

Princess had a late born black filly (R.Zareena by R. Rhodri) and so was shown later in the season with some very notable wins.

United Counties Sec D Champion and Supreme Horse Champion.

Hay-On -Wye Supreme Welsh Champion.

NPS Cob Champion and Supreme M&M Champion with her foal winning the Supreme Foal Championship.

The Welsh National Championships Reserve Supreme Rhydspence Championship.

Shown by Rebecca at the Brecon & Borders Ass. Points shows gaining sufficient points to win the section B points trophy and The Young Handlers points trophy.

We have also said a fond farewell to Rotherdale Kara who has been sold to Klaus Lindberg in Denmark where she joins Rotherdale Nerys whom he purchased in 1999.

We wish Klaus and his family the best of luck for the future.

ROTHERDALE VANESSA.

(Yearling Filly)

Vanessa got our season off to a good start by winning the yearling filly class at this years Cotswold Area Association Spring Show.

ROTHERDALE MAGIC PRINCESS (10 years)

In June 2003 Princess gave us a beautiful black filly the second she has had by Rhodri. Unfortunately she had to be put down after an accident in the field left her with a broken leg.

It was decided to give Princess a change after losing her foal and she was entered in the Novice Ridden Class at The WP&CS's Autumn Performance Show in September. After only three weeks of schooling she finished a very credible 7th out of 14. Having started in 3rd place she showed her lack of experience when during the gallop in her individual show she put in a rather exuberant "leap".

In hand she was Supreme Show Champion at The Cwmdu & District Show, where she qualified for the New London Gold Championships. These Championships where held at The Shrewsbury Show Ground in August and Princess finished 4th overall. At Monmouth County Show she finished the season with a red card.

ROTHERDALE RHODRI (5 years)

After a rather excitable start to his ridden showing career, Rhodri did settle to his new job very well gaining some good results.

ROTHERDALE MAGIC PRINCESS (9 years)

Princess foaled at the end of June 2002, which curtailed her showing opportunities. She did however produce us a lovely filly foal (R. Viscountess) by our junior stallion R. Rhodri.

Centenary World Show. Supreme Champion.

National Pony Show. Cob Champion.

Monmouth County. Cob Champion.

Mountain & Moorland Champion.

Viscountess was too young to compete against the earlier born foals for the Centenary and N.P.S. Shows, but we did enter her at Monmouth where she was awarded a first prize.

ROTHERDALE RHODRI (4 years)

Rhodri competed this year (2002) for the first time in senior open classes. He achieved good results in good company. This October Rhodri was broken to ride and we hope to bring him out under saddle in 2003.

ROTHERDALE VANESSA. (filly foal)

Vanessa has a very colourful pedigree. Her Dam, Rotherdale Dulais , was Youngstock Champion at The Royal Welsh in 1987 as a three year old and her Sire, Rotherdale Rhodri, was Reserve Youngstock Champion at The Royal Welsh in 1999 as a yearling.

This lovely filly attended her first show at the end of November 2002 and came home a Supreme Champion.
